Experience the breathtaking beauty of Skógafoss waterfall, one of Iceland's most impressive natural wonders. Located in the south of the country, this majestic waterfall spans 25 meters (82 feet) wide and plunges 60 meters (200 feet) into a stunning landscape. The Skógá River powers this magnificent cascade, creating a constant spray that often requires photographers to wipe their lenses for clear shots. In this photograph, I captured the top of Skógafoss using a long lens, patiently waiting for Northern fulmar birds to soar across the scene. Remarkably, two of these graceful birds appear in the shot, adding life to the already dynamic backdrop. Nesting birds can be seen along the cliffs, while sheep graze peacefully on the left side, completing this picturesque Icelandic setting.
