Capturing this photograph of the NYC skyline with the Freedom Tower distinguishing itself at dawn just prior to sunrise was an exciting experience. <br /><br />Freedom Tower, aka as One World Trade Center, is 1776 feet tall. This height was chosen to represent the year the United States Declaration of Independence was signed. The building was opened in 2014 and clearly represents America’s resilience and freedom following the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. It is the tallest building in the United States and the 7th tallest building in the world.<br /><br />For this photograph, I created a large panoramic view by stitching together 3 blended sections each of 3 photos for a total of 9 photographs. This enabled me to capture this majestic view in all its glory by capturing all the detail from the both the darkest and brightest parts of the scene. Enjoy!
